About ABT
Alpha Baller Technologies, LLC was founded by Askia Howell, CISSP #524965, in 2013. Over the past decade, ABT has established itself as a leading player in the IT community, serving major clients such as UC Merced, Western Digital and CDW. ABT grew from a single-person operation to a team of enterprise-level experts by focusing on the connection between technical implementation and business outcomes. We use a vendor-agnostic approach to achieve the flexibility to deliver exactly what our customers need. Our solutions have saved our customers hundreds of thousands of dollars by maximizing value across the technology life cycle and exceeding expectations across the board.
Askia Howell
Askia Howell, CISSP 524965 is a 20-year IT veteran. His certifications and experience include network engineering, server management, storage, security, appliance-based solutions, consulting, and professional services.
Askia graduated from MIT with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He spent the next several years working for well-known companies such as Quest and Brocade Communications, expanding his skills and quickly establishing himself as a top talent in the Sacramento/Central Valley and a team player with the ability to consistently deliver for customers. With a lifelong dream to start his own IT company, and a strong desire to help solve the issue of a shortage of qualified cybersecurity professionals, Askia left the corporate world and struck out on his own, founding ABT in 2013.
